I certainly would prefer learning the set in person, so for that part, I will be on the watch for any possible stint of yours in Europe :-)Dragan Milojevichttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13503964804868147781noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1827293309574913027.post-74572617327241246152011-09-13T16:36:43.341-07:002011-09-13T16:36:43.341-07:00Hi Dragan,
Thanks for your interest.
Well there...Hi Dragan,
Thanks for your interest.
Well there's not really much on the internet at the present moment as you might have noticed! But there are plans to put together a 'Basic Solo Training' video that will contain the warm up set + a couple blade manipulation exercises. It will really be more for my students, but will possibly also be available to others who might be interested.

The set is a little hard to describe but is basically working with twisting and folding the body to open the hips, learn 100% weight shift, balance, and lower leg alignment. It connects elbow movement to hips and works on understanding one's 'personal geometry' by 'touching points' - hands, elbow, hips, knees and feet. It also investigates transfer of power up and down the body, dropping, rising, moving and pivoting.

Of course, as with all things physical, better to learn 'live', from a teacher than from a video ... but I understand this is often not possible.Maijahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18264657619197571965noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1827293309574913027.post-2355401985494996522011-09-13T08:34:29.022-07:002011-09-13T08:34:29.022-07:00Being very particular on the significance of the w...Being very particular on the significance of the warm-up/preparatory exercises myself, I was wondering is it possible to get a glimpse into the VCKE warm up set you mentioned? I mean on the internet, or any other media form...Dragan Milojevichttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13503964804868147781noreply@blogger.com
