Especially when the people one is communicating to people "uninitiated in the ideas one expressing. More so when the people one is communicating too are invested in other ideas that may sound similar but are markedly different. They after all won't want to acknowledge a potential "flaw" in what they are part of.. Receiving information (words) is just that, understanding and knowing are something very different.
